How SEA works

Four steps from goal to proof.

  1. 01Set a goal

Name the role or outcome you're working toward, so SEA knows what "relevant" means for you.

  2. 02Discover your skill gaps

A diagnostic measures what you can already do, so you skip what you know.

  3. 03Follow a personal path

Learning from Microsoft Learn, ordered around your gaps and the time you have.

  4. 04Apply and prove it

Practical projects produce evidence. Verified evidence goes into your Skills Passport.

SEA AI Academy is a learning platform for work. You tell SEA what you want to be able to do, answer a short diagnostic, and get a personal learning path made of relevant learning resources and practical projects, with your progress kept in one place.

SEA looks at the skills your goal needs and compares them with what your diagnostic shows you can already do. It then recommends learning for the gaps, in a sensible order, and updates the path as you make progress.

Yes. SEA currently recommends resources from Microsoft Learn. Those courses are created and hosted by Microsoft; SEA organizes them into your personal plan and links you to the original content.

No, you do not need one to use SEA. Microsoft Learn content can generally be opened without signing in; a Microsoft account is only needed if you want Microsoft to save your progress or achievements on Microsoft Learn itself.

You answer a short set of questions about the skills your goal involves. There is no pass or fail. Your answers show where to start, so SEA can skip what you already know and focus on what will help most.

Yes. Your active goal guides your current plan, and your goal history keeps track of earlier directions so you can see where you have been.

Yes. Recommendations are based on your goal and on what your diagnostic and progress show, so learning that covers skills you already have is not pushed to the front of your plan.

SEA does not issue Microsoft certificates or certifications. Any badges, achievements or certifications for a course come from its original provider, such as Microsoft, under that provider's own rules. SEA records your progress and your verified evidence in your Skills Passport.

Yes. An organization can set a programme goal for a group or a learner. SEA then assesses each learner's current skills against that target and guides an individual learning route. You can request a demo from the For Business page.

Create a free account, tell SEA your goal and take the diagnostic. Your first goal, diagnostic and roadmap are free; SEA Pro keeps your plan adapting as you improve.
